SCS-AIM Announces ISO 9001:2000 Certification! SCS-AIM (Stencil Cutting & Supply Co.) is proud to announce a significant milestone in becoming certified to the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems standards and guidelines. This certification, obtained in September of 2008, is the culmination of years of hard work, consistent top-quality products, and the outstanding leadership of the staff of SCS-AIM.

Founded in 1976, SCS-AIM specializes in the manufacturing of decorative elevator Braille products in die cast, metal stamped and plastic injection molding processes. Their services include Engineering, Design, Mold and Tool building, Rapid Prototyping and Secondary Operations that serve not only the elevator industry, but also a variety of industries including Door Access Control and Pharmaceutical.

The addition of Plastic Injection Molding in 2004, along with very key personnel, launched the company into new technologies and allowed SCS-AIM to remain competitive by offering new and alternative products to their current customer base. Currently, the company occupies two facilities in Red Wing, MN and employs over 75 people.

Even in the current economy, SCS-AIM continues to experience significant growth and the achievement of the ISO certification was a natural progression. Company President and CEO, Donna Anderst, commented, ?This certification of compliance with ISO 9001:2000 validates that the policies, practices and procedures of our company ensure consistent quality in the services and manufactured products we provide our customers. ISO 9001 is accepted worldwide as the inclusive international standard that documents quality practices and requires that all products made by SCS-AIM are produced using a consistent quality system.

This quality system is in place from the time a quote is requested until after shipment to the customer, resulting in a product that meets or exceeds the expectations of all customers.
